If you ride down from the Campolongo Pass, you reach the village of Arabba. Its inhabitants are also known in the area as "i glacei da Rèba" or "the frozen ones" because the place is mostly in the shade.
"Da pera a pera", from stone to stone: this is how the locals call the last, very tough, 100 meters to reach the top of the Valparola. Constant gradient between 12% and 15%.
The Dolomites Bike Day is getting closer every day. The event is free, and you don't even need to subscribe. Just show up on the day!
No matter your fitness level, the Dolomites Bike Day is a cycling event for everyone. You can take it as a real challenge and test your limits, or you can take it as a lovely day out in the mountains and ride the three passes with an e-bike.
