Information about data protection and cookies
Declaration regarding our duty to inform
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. Processing your personal data is exclusively based on the legal regulations (GDPR 679/2016, TKG 2003) and on your informed consent. This section on data protection provides information about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website.
Purpose and legal aspects of data processing
If you contact us through our website or get in touch with us directly in the offices of the Tourist Associations of Alta Badia by filling in a form or by e-mail or taking part in events, your specified data will be used exclusively for processing your written or electronic requests, for advertising products and services, for remarketing, profiling and providing marketing information and newsletters from the data controller and members of the group.
This processing is necessary for the treatment of your requests and the ensuing legal obligations. Any refusal can compromise the correct execution of your request. The data processing for advertising, marketing, remarketing, profiling and distributing newsletters is exclusively based on your consent, which can be withdrawn at any given moment.
Procedures, place of processing and retention period
Data processing will be carried out in the registered office of the data controller by himself and/or his staff members and/or other persons connected to him via authorized employees.
The treatment includes any written or electronic operation connected with data processing, whether by automated means or not, including entering into data bases, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or making available by other means, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of data.
In the pursuit of the above-mentioned purposes, for organisational and operative reasons of the data controller, including legal obligation, the data can be transmitted to persons or operators contractually bound to the data controller in Italy or the EEA. On request the data controller will produce an exact list of the third parties to whom the data can be transmitted.
The data will be stored digitally or on paper for 6 months after your electronic request. In the case of your taking part in events, your data will be stored for the requested time set down by the law. Data collected for advertising, marketing, remarketing and profiling are stored until withdrawal of your consent and in any way not more than 10 years from the time of registration. After this period we will need a new consent for the processing of your personal data.
You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding agreement with our provider for the data processing of the job data.
On this website we have activated the IP anonymization function. This means that Google will store your IP-address within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities and to provide further services in connection with website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google.
You may refuse to store cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, we have to make you aware that, in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by cookies as a result of your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Demographic characteristics with Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic characteristics” feature of Google Analytics. This allows us to compile reports including statements on age, gender and interests of the site visitors. These data come from interest-based advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third-party suppliers. These data cannot be associated with any specific person. You can turn off this function at any time in the advertising settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as set out in the section “Objection against data collection”.
You have, in principle, the right to information and access, rights for disclosure, rectification and erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to and revocation of the consent. For claiming your rights or if you think that the processing of your data is in breach of the data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been violated, you can at any time contact ABB (Alta Badia Brand) as data holder or lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Garante per la privacy).
